Clinical Services

(PA & NJ residents only)

Individual Therapy

A client-centered approach is used to both empower and affirm you. Care will be trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, exploring environmental and societal factors in order to understand your unique lived experience in a holistic way. Individual therapy provides psychoeducation, goal-setting, and tasks to be completed between sessions. Core objectives include gaining an understanding of your triggers and their roots, recognizing and evaluating trauma responses, and developing healthy coping skills.

Relationship Counseling

This includes marital, premarital, pre-engagement, relationship, and family counseling. While the goals for each may be different, the key elements are learning and implementing effective communication skills, identifying feelings and expressing them from a place of vulnerability, and setting/maintaining/honoring healthy boundaries. We will work to uncover any past experiences or environmental factors that may be eroding the connection between loved ones, and then work to repair it. While every relationship may not be meant to last forever, relationship counseling can help you determine which ones are sustainable and worth salvaging.

Coaching

You may have a handle on your emotional health but still struggle with “keeping it all together” on a daily basis. Coaching can help you reach your full potential while encouraging you to prioritize balance and your overall health. Time management, career planning, and financial planning can all improve with coaching, but more importantly, so can your self-esteem and self-compassion.

Please note: Coaching does not include or provide a diagnosis or treatment plan, as it is not a clinical service.

Consulting

This includes speaking engagements, course development, academic program development, the facilitation of DEI trainings, and workshops. Areas of specialty include parent-child workshops, employee satisfaction and inclusion initiatives, and behavioral health course development in academic settings.
